June 2019 Our family had a wonderful week at Rocky Shores! We were a group of three generations and everyone had a great time. Words can’t describe the breathtaking views, nor can pictures! You just have to experience it first hand!!! We saw all sorts of wildlife, explored nearby Monterey, Carmel and the Point Pinos Lighthouse. However, think we all would agree that our favorite memories were family time in the grand living room while watching the sea in front of us and the pin ball machine challenges. We appreciated Kirstie’s attention to detail and her quick responses to any questions we had. We hope we can return in the future for another family gathering.
Terri October 2018 My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Kirstie’s home for our 45th anniversary. It was so special. The views are incredible, our host so accommodating and the home was perfect. If you are looking to make wonderful memories, stay here. Thank you for such a delightful time. |

January 2018 It is simply not possible to imagine a more dramatic view of the California coastline ... and one that is incredibly special, private, secluded and absolutely breathtaking. You will never find a more special place from which to create memories of a lifetime. Kirstie is the perfect host - providing a comprehensive orientation, being available should there be a need, and turning over her magical home for a truly stay of a lifetime along the most magnificient coastline in the world.
Megan S. July, 2018 Best. Vacation. Ever! There really are no words for Kirstie’s hospitality and this remarkable home. It truly has everything: location, views, everything you need in the kitchen, baskets with fresh towels, soap and tubes of hand cream. Toys and activities for kids. A great sound system that you can use right from your phone (with your own playlists)... The layout of the home is perfect - lovely and comfortable. The beds were supportive/newer and comfortable. I could go on ... but just rent this house, it’s totally worth it!! |

December 2018 Location, Location, location. You don’t get a lot closer to the ocean unless you are in a boat. Our 4 year old granddaughter expressed her feelings more openly than the rest of us as she cried when it was time to leave on Sunday! Great place. The layout for 6 adults and 4 children was great.. The TV being away from the great room worked well for those football fans. Having a fire and watching the ocean thru the large windows out the back of the house was great. So convenient for taking a walk or run on the coastal path. 11th fairway of Pacific Grove Golf Links literally across the street. Lots to do, or get into the spa and do nothing. Kirstie was a very attentive owner thru the entire process from making the reservation to guiding us thru the weekend. We look forward to coming back for a longer period of time.
Artavia June 2017 Kirstie's home was amazing. My family and I were in town for our daughter's graduation. The home was perfect for our celebration, very nice, comfortable and yet non assuming. All of the conveniences of home, and more...Keurig and traditional coffee pot, so many different dish choices to choose from. The ocean view and easy access were amazing. The only thing we could have done differently was stay longer. |
