     No need to fight over who gets the ocean view in this fabulous 6-bedroom, 4-bath home! With 270 degrees of blue-water views, four of the bedrooms have full views of the Pacific and Monterey Bay. The fifth and sixth bedrooms have a quiet, courtyard view just in case somebody doesn't like to go to sleep to the sound of the waves, or watch the moon sinking into the sea at night.
We are minutes from Carmel and Cannery Row in Monterey, and Pebble Beach is our neighbor. 
     We have a fully stocked gourmet kitchen - and the cook gets an ocean view, too. Dining table seats 10, 14 with extension. Foosball, pinball, Legos, ping pong and lots of other toys for the kids. Steinway grand piano for the musically inclined. Off-street parking for six cars is available. 
     The Spanish Bay Club is a lovely 20-minute walk away, along the world-famous Pacific Grove recreation trail. Guest club privileges for up to four people for tennis, exercise and weight room, heated pool, spa, sauna, steam, poolside dining, massage and beauty treatments are available for an additional fee. Surf, snorkel, or stroll the beautiful beaches and coves. Make S'mores at a bonfire on our secluded beach.  
Nice restaurant just two blocks away. Fabulous Pacific Grove golf course is across the street. Downtown Pacific Grove is 1.5 miles away, with movie theater, farmers' market, restaurants, coffee houses, antiques, shops, bakeries, natural history museum. The world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and American Tin Cannery outlets are about 2 miles away. This remarkable property is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, seminars or, of course, a romantic hideaway!
     Pricing is generally $1300 per night for up to 8 people. Guests in excess of 8 will be charged $112 per person per night, including tax. Special event pricing and discounts for stays longer than 13 nights may apply.

Guest access/ arrival
     Everything except the caretaker's quarters, which has its own entrance and parking area.
     We meet every group of guests personally to give them a tour of the house, the garage-door opener, the combination to the locks, and show them how to work everything. It is so much more relaxing than spending your vacation trying to figure out how to work the TV components, the hot tub, or the pinball machine.

House Rules

• No parties, events or pets without prior written approval
• Check in anytime after 3PM. Check out by 10 a.m.
• No parking anywhere on the shared driveway. We have space for up to 6 guest cars.  

General House Rules:

• We are registered with the City of Pacific Grove under license #468; 12% transient occupancy tax applies.
• No cigar smoking on the property. Cigarette smoking is allowed in the courtyard, greenhouse and spa. Please pick up butts!
• No drinks or other objects on the Steinway piano.
• Daily maid service available; please book in advance.
• Guest privileges at Spanish Bay Club: tennis - (2 lighted courts), exercise equipment, heated pool, hot tub, sauna, steam) available @$25 per person per day. Maximum per day is 4 people. Please let us know in advance as we must book this for you.
• Massage treatments are available, with advanced booking. 
• If you play the Pacific Grove golf course — the best bargain ocean-front golf course in California, and right across the street — please take off your spikes in the courtyard.
• Two bedrooms and two baths, kitchen, living room, den, playroom, conservatory and laundry are all on ground floor and can be accessed by wheelchair. Please advise us in advance the width of your chair and if you will need a ramp for the one front step into the house. Please clean wheels before rolling up our portable ramp onto carpets.
• Pets welcome, but must be cleared in advance. Increased security deposit required. Outside the courtyard is the only place to relieve your dog. We have a fenced dog run. Pets are never to be left anywhere else on the property unless they are supervised. Keep pets off the furniture. Clean their feet before they come inside, and vacuum up pet hair before you check out. 
• Children welcome. They must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially in the hot tub, in the Fort, on the deck, or when visiting the ocean.
• Please do not take bathroom towels to the beach. Beach towels, as well as some snuggely blankets to wrap around you in the beach chairs, are available on the shelves in the upstairs master bath and in the greenhouse.
• The roof area off Eli’s bedroom and the Master bedroom is NOT a deck and does NOT have a safety railing. Guests are not allowed on the roof!
• Please let us know when you will be checking out, and if you ordered any pay-per-view movies or events. Please leave the keys and the garage door opener on the kitchen table; turn out the lights and furnaces, and lock the doors. When you fill out the check-out form, please let us know if there were any accidents or breakage during your stay, if you used up any supplies, and if there is any way we can improve our service.

Rocky Shores Massage

        Our massage therapist, Perrine Adams, is utterly fantastic. She has a degree in Massage Therapy, 10 years of experience and over 800 hours of training in the United States and in France. She specializes in relaxing Swedish massage, deep-tissue massage, sports massage and pregnancy massage. The charge is $150 per hour for the first massage and $130 for additional. 
        We have a professional massage table and privacy screen, and when you combine the massage with a soak in my ocean-view hot tub or a nap on the deck, it will be sublime! Perrine gets booked up quickly, so please contact her at least 2 weeks in advance at  831-233-0503 or at

​        We provide housekeeping before and after your stay, of course.  If you require daily housekeeping, or a clean-up during your stay, please let us know and Angelina, Alex and Celia, our fabulous housekeepers, are available. The fee is $150 for 3 hours.
        We also can provide you with a list of local caterers, personal chefs and photographers to capture the memories of your trip to Rocky Shores.

Deer, herons, sea otters, seals, whales, foxes, raccoons, ring-tailed cats, hawks, bluebirds, coyotes, bobcats, and other local wildlife - including mountain lions, have been seen at and near our home.
